What began as a weekend tree-planting effort by six friends in 2012 has grown into a foundation working across 312 villages in India.
About Us
Dherya is Delhi based registered as non-profit organization established in 2012 with a commitment to creating positive and sustainable change in society, the organization has been dedicated to empowering underprivileged communities through focused interventions in Education, Employment, and Environment. Guided by the principles of equality, inclusion, and sustainable development, dherya works tirelessly to improve the quality of life for vulnerable population especially youngsters and build stronger, self-reliant communities. Because youth is the future of any community socity and country. Over the years, Dherya has reached more than 5000 of individuals through educational support programs, skill development initiatives, environmental conservation activities, and community awareness campaigns. The organization believes that meaningful social transformation can be achieved when individuals are provided with opportunities, knowledge, and a healthy environment to thrive.

Since our establishment in 2013 our journey has been driven by a simple yet powerful belief: every individual deserves the opportunity to learn, earn, and live in a healthy environment. Education empowers minds, employment creates dignity, and environmental conservation safeguards our future. Mission
We believe that when a young individual gets educated and finds employment, an entire household becomes educated. This, in turn, educates the entire community, which helps the whole nation get educated. So our mission is to empower communities through education, enhance livelihoods through employment and skill development programs, and promote environmental sustainability through awareness, conservation, and community participation and make our youth to-strong enough and confident to live their livelihood in standard way. At Dherya, we extends far beyond youth empowerment; we have been actively working at the grassroots level since 2018 Our core mission is to provide nutritious meals to underprivileged children who face daily food insecurity and nutritional deficiencies. Alongside feeding them, we are deeply committed to safeguarding their childhood and supporting their education until they complete their schooling.
Vision
Our vision is not just limited to young individuals; we have already started working on it on a smaller scale. Since 2018, our vision has been to provide food to needy children who are unable to get proper meals throughout the day and suffer from nutritional deficiencies. Along with food, we help support their childhood and education right through their schooling. So that they can become a very confident youngsters
